Viridian Artists Gallery is proud to present its 34th JURIED EXHIBITION, juried by SHILPI CHANDRA, Assistant Curator at the Hudson River Museum and the DIRECTOR’S CHOICE, a digital exhibition curated by LOLA SHEPARD. The two shows will be on view from April 21 through May 9, 2026 with an Opening Reception on Thursday, April 23, from 6 to 8 PM, followed by a Closing Reception on Saturday, May 9, from 4 to 6 PM.

This Juried exhibition highlights the work of emerging and under-recognized artists, bringing their practices to the attention of museum curators. It celebrates a wide range of contemporary artistic voices, showcasing innovative techniques, diverse perspectives, and thought-provoking visions. Cash awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, to be announced during the run of the exhibition.

In addition to the juried exhibition, Gallery Director Lola Shepard has selected works for the DIRECTOR’S CHOICE digital presentation, highlighting the breadth of talent submitted and demonstrating the many ways curatorial vision can shape an exhibition. This virtual showcase runs concurrently with the gallery exhibition, offering an expanded opportunity for audiences to engage with the artists’ work.
