CAT HUSS

Huss_Iceberg, 2024. Acrylic on canvas, 30 x 40 in. $3,900.jpg

Cat Huss is an American contemporary painter and mixed media artist whose work explores self-discovery and the complexities of life. Through vibrant layered colors and minimalist forms, she evokes wonder, mystery, and a quest for truth. Her paintings often begin with poured layers of color, creating dynamic blends of hues, densities, and textures. As her work evolves, she refines it with rough geometric shapes, bringing order to the composition and deepening her exploration of self and environment.  Living and working in Corpus Christi, TX, Cat Huss has been a professional artist since 2017.

She holds a B.S. in Advertising and Public Relations and an M.A. in Communication from Drury University in Springfield, MO. Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries, virtual exhibitions, and independent fairs across the United States. She has also been featured in several esteemed publications, including Bold Journey magazine, Art Business News, The Bend, Shoutout Atlanta, Voyage ATL, and the Canvas Blog by Saatchi. Notably, one of her paintings recently appeared on the cover of Elle Décor UK. Huss’s artwork is held in private collections across the United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan.
