Lola Shepard's career spans the art, publishing, fashion and holistic industries. Armed with a B.A. in Art History from Rutgers University in 1997, Lola took a detour from the art industry into fashion, moving to New York City in 1998.

From 1997-2009, beginning in Philadelphia, she worked in both film and fashion as a wardrobe stylist including 3 years as a contributing fashion editor for Sportswear International Magazine.  Her styling work has been published in a variety of prestigious magazines such as British Elle, Noi.se, Aventura, NY Moves, Highlights, BG, and others. 

With a continued passion for art, in 2009 Lola co-founded EnMasse magazine, a fine art and fashion publication. This lead her to take over the helm of NYOC Gallery (New York Open Center) in 2010 as gallery director and curator. NYOC gallery advocates for both emerging and mid-career artists whose body of work focuses on world culture, holism, and spiritual & philosophical inquiry.

Simultaneously, from 2008-2015, Lola directed the advertising department at the New York Open Center, the largest urban center of holistic learning in the United States.

From 2017-2020, Lola worked as Asst. Director at Madelyn Jordon Fine Art in Scarsdale, NY.
